iOS Testing Guide

Thanks for helping test Audiobook Librarian on iPhone and iPad. The beta is delivered through Apple's TestFlight app, so you get new builds before public release and can send feedback straight from the app. Test builds may be less stable than the public release.

Join the Beta

Open this page on your iPhone or iPad to join in one tap.

Get set up in four steps

From install to a working library in a few minutes.

1

Install TestFlight

On your iPhone or iPad, install Apple's free TestFlight app from the App Store. Audiobook Librarian requires iOS 16 or later.

2

Join the beta

Open the beta link on the same device, tap "Accept," then tap "Install." The app appears on your home screen with an orange dot next to its name while it's a beta build.

3

Choose how to listen

Use the app on its own with books from your device, Google Drive, or Dropbox, or connect it to a self-hosted server to unlock every feature. Email [email protected] for a server account, or try the demo server below.

4

Explore and send feedback

Start listening and tell us what you find. TestFlight updates the app automatically when a new build is ready, or you can update it from the TestFlight app.

Just want to try it out?

Point the app at the demo server and sign in with the demo account — no email required.

Send feedback

The quickest way is to take a screenshot in the app and tap "Share Beta Feedback," or open the app in TestFlight and tap "Send Beta Feedback." Include what happened, what you expected, and steps to reproduce.

Troubleshooting

If the beta link opens Safari instead of TestFlight, install TestFlight first (Step 1) and open the link again. "This beta is full" or "not accepting testers" means the tester limit was reached — check back soon. Beta builds expire after 90 days, so keep TestFlight updates on. For sign-in issues, double-check the server address and credentials above.
